Wande Coal, one of Africa's most well-known musicians, is set to release his fourth studio album, Legend or No Legend, on Wednesday, May 17th. His last album release, Realms, was in 2020.
When Derby Ozioma Chukwudi first arrived in the U.S. in 2015, she said her transition from Nigeria to Kentucky's Berea College was difficult. Partly because she focused solely on academics while trying to shift through the challenges she faced living in a new country on her own. Then, 4 years later, the 23-year-old business administration and economics graduate found herself working on Wall Street.
The legendary Nigerian musician, Peter Okoye, became a household name along with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, after forming their duo, P-Square in 1999. Soon after, they were not only known in Nigeria, but after several hits, the musicians successfully made international waves with songs alongside artists like Ginuwine, Rick Ross, Akon, T.I., and Sean Paul.
However, after nearly 20 years of enjoying the spotlight together, a 2016 misunderstanding led the duo to split. Peter Okoye decided to continue pursuing his music career and is currently on tour in the U.S.
